The owners have been visiting Padstow for over twenty years and are able to pass on many tips as to how to make the most of this special part of Cornwall. The property is only a few minutes’ walk from the Elizabethan Prideaux Place which is well worth a visit with its tearoom and Deer Park. Continue down a country lane which leads to the stunning Tregirls beach.
Unusually for the old town Methven has a parking space within 50 yards of the property.
If you're unlucky with the weather there is a selection of DVDs, books and games for both adults and children.
Hit the beach! We have listed our favourite beaches, one of which is within a 15 minute walk from Methven, plus there are the several other fantastic beaches only a short drive away. Crab lines, buckets and spades, plus a windbreak and mallet are supplied for your use.
Details of our favourite places to eat are in the guest information folder. Sunday Lunch or dinner at The Golden Lion (within a minutes’ walk) is highly recommended, book well ahead to secure a table.
