We love this cottage and had two bookings in December. We arrived from the states to have Christmas in Padstow. Everything was wonderful and clean. The furniture is comfortable, the shower is great...beds are comfy, enjoyed the church bells, songbirds in the garden, wood burning stove and the private parking was very handy! John and Janet were very kind and answered any questions we had and it really is just a lovely place to stay...it is located in the most perfect spot as well. We felt like it was home away from home... We look forward to staying again!

Lovely cottage. Our second visit to this cottage. Perfectly positioned in Padstow. Great that it has a parking space too. I think they have thought of everything you could need in the kitchen. We loved the log burner and found it heated the house really well. I’m sure we will be back !

We have been to Padstow on many occasions but this was by far the best accommodation that we have stayed in. The location could not have been better and fantastic to have its own parking space. The cottage was lovely and cosy and the log burner was a treat. As it was November it was lovely to return to after a great day on the many fantastic walks. We will definitely love to return again. This has been an amazing stay at Methven! Lovely garden and living areas and great location. We've been to Padstow many times and this is now one of our favourite houses. Despite the weather, and only managing to get to the beach twice, we had lovely meals at Rick Stein's cafe, Embers and the Mariners on Rock as well as walks to nearby beaches! Thank you very much!!
